Be in the classroom as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Facilitator. Help students strengthen their English language skills through conversation, reading, and interactive learning activities. "Serving as a Liga MAC volunteer has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. As a facilitator in an ESL classroom, I was continually inspired by the students' dedication, enthusiasm, and genuine desire to learn English. Every Saturday morning the students arrived eager to learn, spend time with their friends, and make the most of every class. Although speaking Spanish wasn't a requirement, I was pleasantly surprised by how much my own limited Spanish improved through our interactions. Watching the students gain confidence, develop new skills, and celebrate their progress was incredibly fulfilling.
